Locally owned, high quality coffee, friendly staff, and convenient location for East side caffeine seekers. If you love coffee and supporting small businesses, skip the nearby chains and give this little gem a try. If you prefer your coffee "meh" and small businesses are like, "ew" for you, then there's a nice, long line for you to sit in at a place nearby! This place is fantastic, and definitely my first pick for drive thru coffee in Norman!

This is a cute little drive-thru with affordable prices! I bought the iced matcha latte with half chai (the person working recommended the half if you don't want an overly sweetened drink and it was perfect). I haven't tried their food items yet, but I will. This is a great local spot! 🌻

Customer service here can't be beat!! I have been several times now and have always been greeted with a great attitude and a smile. I don't however love their coffee. I am very picky and love my coffee at home. I have yet to find a place other than my house that I can say I love their coffee. But when in a pinch I go here because I know they will be respectful and try their best to please me. Its not that it is bad coffee just not my flavor. So please when you see a low star rating because someone didn't prefer the coffee here don't take it to heart. That is like me going Cane's Chicken and giving them a bad review because I don't like chicken strips. If you like it sweet tell the girl. Try the drink before you leave she can always add more something if its not right. I love the people at this place.

I don't live in Norman anymore, but every time I come home to visit family, I always have to stop at Cool Beans at least once. Their coffee is fantastic, I love supporting a local business, and I adore their quirkiness with the stickers on the tops of cups and doodles on cardboard sleeves. The staff are always really friendly, and it's hands-down my favorite coffeeshop in town. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who appreciates good coffee!

Probably my favorite place to get coffee in Norman. Staff is always super friendly, service is fast and reliable, and most importantly, they're consistent with the quality of coffee they server. I never have to worry if the barista just isn't feeling it that day and I'm going to get a bad cup of coffee. I've never felt like I wasted my time or money here. Also, they actually wait for you to tell them your order here, which I thoroughly appreciate. They never cut me off mid sentence to ask me a question about my order. I think a big part of that is they take your order face to face instead of through a mic. The owner is also a Norman local who's very invested in this community. This is a great local business to support!

I took a different route so I could stop by this place and get a local, independent coffee before hitting the road for a long trip. Goo-gal said they were open till 6pm but I have found Goo-gal to be wrong about such things several times in the past. I drove up and it looked dark, but hours posted outside also said they were open till 6pm. I peered in the windows and did not see anything - too dark. I wondered if maybe they had closed up early to go to the oh-you game. I stayed there a little while, feeling confused as to what to do next, when a lady opened the window. There WAS someone inside. She told me they would close in 15 minutes. I said, "That's what I was counting on - :)" So I ordered and quickly received a GREAT latte - very smooth taste - very easy on the stomach. It was worth the detour and moment of confusion.

Obviously good as there were 3 cars ahead of me. Barista suggested a Cool Bean Caramel Macchiato...great suggestion & glad I got a large, as I couldn't get enough. I'll be back to try other flavors.

Here’s Mrs. Flip Out’s review on Yellow Dog Drive Thru: Yellow Dog Coffee in downtown Norman is one of my all-time favorite coffee places, so when I saw they opened a little drive-thru, I was so excited! I ordered my usual breve latte and it was as good as I remembered their coffee being in the past. I enjoyed this little detour through Norman to give the Yellow Dog drive thru a try!

My favoriteee local drive thru coffee shop. I have been coming here since it was cool beans and it’s always a+. Iced lattes are creamy and macchiatos have a good espresso to sweetness ratio. I prefer YD over a chain drive through any day.
